The role in a nutshell

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Flutter Engineer to architect and build exceptional mobile applications. As the lead Flutter engineer on our projects, your primary focus will be delivering high-quality mobile applications, ensuring technical excellence and coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

What you can expect

  • Take an active part in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, estimation, documentation, development, testing, bug fixing and support.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and clients to define, design and ship innovative mobile experiences.
  • Contribute to UX decisions, as well as improving project processes and methodologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Learn from colleagues and share your expertise with them.
  • Establish best practices, coding standards and development workflows to improve team efficiency and maintain high code quality.

The type of person we’d like to meet

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial Flutter products.
  • Proficiency in the Dart programming language.
  • Excellent knowledge of major state management approaches (BLoC, Provider, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of both iOS and Android and their respective languages (Swift/Kotlin).
  • Solid understanding of client-server applications and experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and good architectural knowledge.
  • Ability to write maintainable and testable code, with a good understanding of unit testing and its value.
  • Proficient in working with version control (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with App Store Connect, TestFlight, Apple Developer Console and Google Play Console.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Great command of English (reading, writing and speaking).

Nice to have

  • Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android).
  • Proven track record of successful iOS and Android projects.
  • Strong interest in mobile technologies and a good understanding of general mobile architectures, trends, and new technologies.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD systems and pipelines.
  • Experience working with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
